Special Olympics WA
This organisation provides inclusive training and competition in a variety of sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities enabling opportunities to develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, improve wellbeing and participate in a sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with the community.
Their mission is to bring people together to grow, plant, establish and maintain trees to achieve a healthy and biodiverse environment. The impact of climate change is worsening. Trees are a large part of the solution through enabling greater biodiversity. For optimal success, native trees need to be re-planted as they struggle to regenerate on their own.
