
Thanks to some dedicated donors at our first Assessment Evening for the year, we now have our Shortlist of the 10 organisations selected to submit Full Applications and host a site visit.
Down Syndrome WA – Empowering Lived Experience Leaders for Inclusion – Strengthen and expand their Advisory Network – review, update and deliver program of training in leadership, speaking and more.
DVassist – The Ripple Effect Project: a regional FDV Recovery and Healing initiative – Run specialist healing and recovery programs of 10 wks each across regional, rural and remote WA. In-person workshop, online group sessions and individual telehealth sessions.
MAN UP WA – Foundations of Manhood – Launch program to deliver workshops to 40 primary schools for boys in yrs 4-6 in metro area and 1 rural or regional.
Nature Conservation Margaret River – Capes Fauna Project – Expand pilot project – create coordinated wildlife monitoring network across public and private land to support biodiversity conservation, using remote wildlife cameras.
Radiance South West – Radiance Outreach – 1:1 in-home perinatal support – Expand pilot – provide free early intervention, non-clinical, in-home emotional support across SW region.
Team Connect WA – Youth Workers for Vulnerable Teenage Girls – Expand to have 1 x youth worker at each of three hubs to coach/manage girls cricket teams – to enable participation and engagement of marginalised cohorts of teenage girls.
The Men’s Table – Calling It Out: a community training pgm for men who give a damn – Develop and roll-out community training program for two cohorts of men in Armadale. To build awareness and skills to talk honestly about what matters.
Veterinary & Community Care – Expanding One Welfare Support across WA – Strengthen and expand program to support animal custodians experiencing vulnerabilities by providing vet care and social support together. Involves project coordination, special training for vet practitioners and delivery.
WA All Abilities Football Association – Footy For All, Regional rollout – For kids, young people and adults (and their families) with a disability.
WestAus Crisis & Welfare Services – Pilot: Engagement Hub Manager – Employ manager to coordinate an engagement hub in Peel region for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness, bringing all services under sustainable, coordinated leadership.
From these 10, we will be voting for our favourites in mid August – which will decide the 5 Finalists to pitch at the 2026 Grant Awards Dinner for a chance of receiving one of our transformational $100,000 Primary Grants.
