We have our 5 Finalists for 2023!

We always knew it was going to be tough to choose between them but the beauty of collective giving is that it’s a group decision. We provide the information we’ve gathered through site visits and reading applications and then all donors get to vote according to what they feel is important.

Over 40 of us braved the wild weather to gather and discuss the merits and risks of ten great proposals –

  • who/what will they benefit,
  • why are they important,
  • what will be their outcomes (both short- and long-term),
  • are they likely to be able to keep it running beyond our grant
  • and more.

And, without further ado, we are delighted to announce the following five organisations as our Finalists for 2023:

Thriving In Motion – Thriving in Motion Satellite Service
Midlas – Midland Health and Justice Partnership
Food Ladder – School Greenhouse Program
Albany Community Legal Centre – Breaking Barriers and Increasing Access to Justice
12 Buckets – Creating a safe space for connection at High School

For more information on their proposed initiatives, have a read here.

They will each get to present their case in person at our 2023 Grant Awards Dinner on Tuesday 24th October.
