We received 47 applications this year across our five Focus Areas and, supported by our wonderful co-chairs, the Focus Area groups have been busying sorting through them.
This is a time when any interested donors can increase their philanthropic knowledge: What are the problems that need solving? What can be done to make a difference? What makes a great organisation? What weaknesses need to be checked for.
Next we will be holding our 1st Assessment evening where, if previous attendance is anything to go by, up to 50 or so of our donors will gather to hear summaries of the proposed initiatives and vote to create the shortlisted ones who are then invited to submit a full application.
